UVC light (200–280 nm) destroys the DNA or RNA of microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, and spores, preventing them from reproducing or surviving. It works without chemicals and is effective within seconds to a few minutes, depending on the dose.

  • UV-A (315–400 nm): Blacklight, used in cosmetic or therapeutic applications.
  • UV-B (280–315 nm): Associated with sunburn and skin exposure.
  • UV-C (200–280 nm): Germicidal range. Only UV-C is used for disinfection purposes.

Yes. Several studies, including those by Andrea Bianco and Columbia University have demonstrated complete inactivation of the virus with controlled UVC exposure.

This depends on the volume, irradiance level, and contamination level. For instance, our UVcare 344 can disinfect a 20 m² room in approximately 4 minutes.

No. Conventional UVC light is harmful to the skin and eyes. That’s why our systems are equipped with motion sensors, safety locks, remote controls, or app-based monitoring to ensure safe use.

Only if the device uses Far-UVC light (222 nm) or is fully shielded, as is the case with our built-in UVC air purifiers (e.g. AirCom Pro).

No. Our systems are designed for no-contact operation. As long as safety procedures are followed, no protective gear is required.

  • Hospitals, clinics, surgical units
  • Medical offices, ambulances
  • Long-term care facilities
  • Laboratories, clean rooms
  • Food processing industry (production lines, packaging)
  • Pharmaceutical environments
  • Animal facilities, veterinary and livestock sectors

We offer multiple configurations

  • Mobile (wheeled units like UVcare 344 or handheld UVC wands)
  • Wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted (e.g. AirCom Pro)
  • Portable or integrated for use in vehicles, airlocks, or confined spaces

On average, between 9,000 and 12,000 hours depending on the model. Most of our devices include a built-in lamp-life counter that displays the remaining percentage.

Only minimal upkeep is needed: light dusting of grilles and a monthly visual check. Lamp replacement is automatically signaled when necessary.

Our products are covered by a 2-year parts and labor warranty. UVC tubes can be replaced individually when required.
